I started school today at 9, and it was a little stressful. It was international marketing in english and one of the first things out of the professors mouth was I can't make it on mondays and wednesdays, can we move it to tuesdays and thursday at this time. The only other class that I get IE credit for is at that time. So I was annoyed. Why would they put a class at a time when the teacher can't even make it. This whole registration process could definitely be run more efficiently (they probably need to introduce IE as a major here). After five out of the fifteen students said they could not make it at that time, he rethought and decided to move something else around. Fingers crossed it stays where it is. The class looks interesting, and the professor seems nice. After that I had a two hour break, so I went to the post office and mailed a post card (Mom be on the lookout). There post office is very organized, You have to go to this machine, press what you have to do there, like send something, and it gives you a number. Then each desk displays the number they are ready to serve. I didn't really have to say much to the guy there, so hopefully it get to the US. After that I met my friend Rachel and we walked to a nearby park. She ate her lunch while I sat in the sun. We went back to school, and I still had a little more time before my next class at 1. That class was economía y la sociedad en la España contemporánea (the economy and society of contemporary Spain). It is a history class, and I'm not so much into the whole history thing. The professor was saying how in science classes you can repeat experiments multiple times, like with gravity and math, but with history it only happens once; I definitely prefer the first. He got into summarizing the history of Spain from the late 1700s to the late 1900s. So of it was a little hard to follow, but I got the gist of what he was explaining.
After the second class, I went home for lunch. Outside out building they were scooping up all the oranges, the workers had shaken from the trees. I asked Ana and she said they were collecting them for zumo (juice). For lunch we had this really good chicken the aunt made, and homemade french fries. Today I finally put together what exactly was happening The aunt and uncle came into town from Morocco so she could get cataract surgery. She is 80 and looks fantastic. Yesterday I was showing her and my host mom pictures of my family, dog, and house, and they were so interested and cute. After lunch I had only a few minutes to sit down before I had to leave for class again. I had Flamenco at 5. I think I'm going to like this class. We learn about the dance, singing, and all the history of Flamenco. The teacher was really nice, talked slow, and made sure we were understanding the Spanish. Finally after 6 hours of class, I was done for the day. Ashley, Tara, and I went and got cappuccinos at a cute little cafe. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather. We were there for awhile because tonight we had an ISA welcome dinner. We went out to some restaurant nearby, it was good, but not as good as my mom's cooking. I finally got back a little before 11:30 exhausted. And it now is the first time on the internet all day.

Tomorrow is another early day. I have classes at 9 and 3. Hopefully they're both interesting. It's so draining listening to a lecture in Spanish, especially since I haven't been in school for 56 days. Also fun fact: I walked 39.5 miles in my first week here (thanks Nike Fuel band).
¡Hasta Luego!
